"Detachment" explores how technology has become deeply intertwined with our identity, especially in newer generations who prioritize capturing moments over experiencing them. It questions why we turn to technology as an escape from reality, reflecting on how smartphones distort our self-awareness and detach us from the present moment. The piece illustrates this tension by contrasting a colorful, vibrant portrayal of presence with a monochrome, lifeless side, slowly disintegrating like a statue, consumed by technology, where the only element still whole and vibrant is the phone in its hand.
